The Laws of Mortality
Violation Results in Permadeath
Breaking these rules may result in immediate account termination and character deletion. All penalties are final and non-negotiable. Appeals may be submitted through the Dashboard but are reviewed at staff discretion.
ICore Hardcore Rules
Death is Permanent
When your character loses all three Soul Stones and becomes an Eternal Ghost, restoration is impossible. This applies regardless of cause — disconnections, bugs, lag, or player error. The hardcore nature of the server means every death is final.
No External Assistance
Characters must exist in isolation. No trading with other players, no auction house usage, no mail system, and no assistance from other characters on your account. Self-found means self-found.
Solo Play Required
No grouping, no raids, no dungeon runs with other players. You may not receive buffs, heals, or any form of assistance from other players. The path to 60 must be walked alone.
IIDisconnect Ward Rules
The Disconnect Ward exists to protect against genuine disconnections. Abuse of this system is strictly prohibited:
- Intentionally triggering the Ward to escape combat situations
- Using VPNs or network manipulation to simulate disconnections
- Exploiting the cooldown through multiple characters
- Attempting to abuse the protection window after reconnection
- Any form of manipulation to gain unfair advantage
Note: The Ward employs intelligent detection to distinguish genuine disconnections from abuse. Anti-abuse measures are in place to prevent exploitation. Attempts to manipulate the system will result in penalties ranging from temporary suspension to permanent account termination.

Permanent BanBots, hacks, cheats, automation tools, or any unauthorized modifications
Exploitation
Permanent BanAbusing bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for advantage
Real Money Trading
Permanent BanBuying/selling accounts, items, or services for real currency
Account Sharing
Permanent BanAllowing others to access your account
Harassment
Permanent BanTargeted abuse, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
Griefing
Warning → BanIntentionally disrupting others' gameplay experience
Impersonation
Permanent BanPretending to be staff or other players
Advertising
Permanent BanPromoting other servers, services, or products
IVAnti-Cheat System
The Mortals employs active anti-cheat measures to ensure fair play:
- Automated detection of unauthorized software
- Behavioral analysis for botting patterns
- Manual review of suspicious activities
- Regular database audits for anomalies
- Community reporting system
Important: Even if not immediately detected, all cheaters are eventually caught. We maintain logs indefinitely and retroactively ban accounts when new detection methods are implemented.
VAppeals Process
If you believe a penalty was applied in error:
- Submit an appeal through the Dashboard within 30 days
- Provide evidence supporting your claim
- Wait for staff review (typically 3-7 days)
- Accept the final decision — further appeals will not be considered
Not Appealable: Permadeath, Soul Stone consumption, character deletion by player, and penalties confirmed by definitive evidence.
VIStaff Authority
Server staff have final authority on all matters. Their decisions are binding. Staff reserve the right to:
- Interpret and enforce rules at their discretion
- Apply penalties not explicitly listed in these rules
- Modify rules without prior notice
- Refuse service to any player for any reason
- Investigate accounts without notification
Arguing with staff, attempting to circumvent decisions, or harassing administrators will result in additional penalties.
Acknowledgment
By creating an account and entering Azeroth, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these rules. Ignorance is not a defense. The path of the mortal is fraught with peril — tread carefully, for the void watches and waits.
